"Lady Tigers scored four points in the third quarter - yes, four - and now trail Arkansas 37-28 going to the fourth. #LSU 13-40 FG, 2-8 FT."

Yikes. CNC getting paid 750k... same amount as CPM.

Felt bad for Hyder and Bethel they were the only players that could do anything in the 2nd half.

I think maybe she should just resign! Whatever she did in UCLA she has lost it. LSU was suppose to be a stop over on her way to Tennessee! Somewhere between UCLA and LSU she lost whatever she had!

We have not scored more than 45 in the last 4 games.

We have been held under that also 6 times in the last 8

Holy shite.

I'm sure the Men's team has gone through a 10 min stretch in a game scoring only 4

Arkansas gets their first road win of the season in conference play. We'll most definitely be stuck at one conference win this season.

I have gotten to know nc having met her several times in the VIP lounge at lauberge. She likes her blackjack, and we've played together a few times as we have had some luck together. I saw her at new years there with her husband but didn't talk with her. The last time I talked with her, she had Mickie demoss (spelling) with her, who is a legendary assistant for barmore and summit. Had a good talk on basketball over drinks with both. She was highly concerned citing numerous injuries with players....this was during preseason...so she already knew what was likely unfolding....she really is pretty cool...but like all here, injuries or not, I'd be shocked if she were back.

Alleva hire along with Johnny Jones and Kevin Steele. Alleva screwed LSU out of getting Aranda a year ago and sabotaged this season to try to get rid of Miles. He almost got his way as well.

Johnny Jones was not an alleva hire. Now his failed Trent Johnson hire paved the way for Dale and his cronies to get JJ the job.

Of course not. They are garbage. They gave up 48 points and lost. The defense is there but the offense is horrible.

Was Trent really an Alleva hire? He wasn't technically the AD yet. I'm sure he was a part of the decision though.

Yes Trent was

And we were pumped because this basketball AD from Duke landed us a big time basketball hire.

Anyone paying attention?

Most of the jack-offs who come on the Rant and talk out of their arse about women's basketball obviously are NOT paying attention.

They were down to 6 healthy scholarship players tonight. Jenna Deemer has missed the last 3 games with some sort of illness and Ann Jones sprained her ankle in practice yesterday and was also out.

Yes, they have scored in the 40's a lot lately. Why? Because Nikki has had to intentionally take the air out of the ball on offense because they have no bodies. If she had a few more players, she would LOVE to run, press, trap, and play fast, but she can't. So THAT is why the scores have been so low. She knows that is the only way she can stay in games right now, and they have defended well, but just hit one bad dry spell where they go ice cold.

And no, she isn't going anywhere after this season, even if they end up 1-15 in the league. We have been through this before. You try coaching a team that has lost an SEC player of the year candidate (Ballard), a second-team all SEC player (Moncrief), a freshman who would have likely been all-freshman SEC (Ayana Mitchell), a decent backup post player (Amichia), and now your best 3-point shooter (Deemer) and a starting post player (Jones).

If everyone is healthy for next year, as they should be, added to the two transfers who are waiting to play next year, they can win 20 games. And if not, then Nikki sees the door.
