If the call stands why did he say "it is a catch". Saying it stands basically means we have no idea. He should have said it stands and left it at that.

Nah.

Seattle needs to recover an onside kick to win this game. What are the odds of doing that when the receiving team expects it, like 10-15%?

Higher chance that Seattle stops you on 4th and 2.

If Carolina loses Rivera should be fired. He has taken the ball out of the hands of the league MVP who has completed close to 75 percent of his passes today
