Not to be a Debbie downer but c'mon man. His highlight film is decent but it reminds me of J Lee and Jennings' film where they threw high arching passes.
That may look great in a highlight film when the receivers was getting that wide of separation but my question is can he throw like that against a SEC pass rush and SEC DBs playing tight coverage? Those DBs in that film were piss poor....
Or maybe those high throws are enticing because of the tall recievers we are bringing in

would be a nice get. We need a solid QB to come in and redshirt and get as much learning as possible before being thrown in

Russo fits in with what we want to do and he seems to be very accurate and his footwork is ok. He will also come in with a chip on his shoulder because I don't believe he gets his just due in the rankings.
At the beginning of the video I thought to myself well he hasn't been under center at all but later in the video there were a few so I think with the weight room and tighten up his release. I think he will be ok
