There is also A LOT more drug transporters and dealers than there are 1% MC's.

I'd love to hear the reasoning behind this hypothesis

If biker gangs ran the illegal drug biz in this country, they'd put manpower on the border to stop the traffickers from coming across. They'd be more effective than the Feds.

If it's bikers against cartels, my money is on the bikers every time.

They are getting the drugs from across the border

And you would lose. The mexican cartels are the most powerful organized crime organization on our side of the planet. There may only be a few other gangs or organizations that are even close and MC's are not one of them.

While it's true there is a substantial criminal element in the 1%er world, not all, or even most, 1%er's are criminals.

And there are plenty of bad sob's in that world. I am not denying that at all.

They make it you clown. You don't think there is endogenous production capacity in the US? The largest meth labs around are often found underground next to colleges and universities, run by a bunch of college kids.

Your trolling now.

Even if your not, what about the 10's to 100's of billions of dollars of coke and heroin that the cartels deal a year?

It's true there are some clubs who run their own labs. But that's the exception rather than the rule. Most of the ones who are involved in such illegal activity are on the protection and shipment side of things rather than sales side of things.

The cartels are unchecked in Mexico, hence their power. The feds have turned a blind eye to the border, and that provides freedom of movement for the cartels here.

Anything that clamps down on their freedom of movement would eliminate their influence. You assume they're large, rich, and powerful because they are effective. That's not the case. They are large, rich, and powerful because the Mexican govt is weak and gutless and because the US govt turns a blind eye for fear of losing the Hispanic vote.

How many times have you watched the cartels do work? How many times have you listened to them on the radio? How many times have you done the terrain analysis on where they go, why they go there?
How many times have you watched them ferry drugs across the border?

I assure you they are not tactical wizards and they are not a formidable force. They don't have secure comms, they use predictable routes at predictable times and they are not heavily armed. You think they are because of videos you see - from Mexico. In the US they have a band of mules and then usually one guy is armed. They put observers on high ground to report on what those easily identified BP vehicles are doing.

Put a group of bikers on that same terrain. The bikers will walk out, the cartel scouts will be dead.

The cartels have to continually transit the same areas. They move freely but they don't live here. The biker gangs live here and can establish permanent efforts to interdict the traffickers. If you can't see this, you're an idiot.

But since you think you have all these answers already, please enlighten us.

The Bandido's leader has the same name as my grandma, Jeffrey Fay. Street cred gone.
