Pretty much everyone is at this point and every theory wants even more relations

Kylo ren and Rey are related !
Finn is Landos son!
Rey is Luke's daughter!
Rey is Obi Wans daughter!

Like get a new Schtick, you'll never get the "I am you father"magic back, do something a little different

Yeah but they won't be after Ep 9, and after he killed Han I doubt Kylo is able to truly be redeemed in the eyes of the audience, so I doubt he is around after Ep 9 either. That leaves Rey.

Anakin --> Luke/Leia is the only relation is the OT. Anakin and his mom are the only relation in the PT. Having Anakin's grandchildren battling each other in Ep 7-9 makes the most sense, and it doesn't preclude them from doing different things, which I think we'll definitely get with Rian Johnson.

Could the end of the saga not be the end of the Skywalker line? Let Luke bring "ballance". Usher in an age of peace, and let it end.

Sure it could but I don't think Disney will ever "stop" making Episodes. You may get a break for 5 years or so but they will always bring them back and Kathleen Kennedy flat out said the saga films are about the Skywalkers.

if you're looking for other stories, the anthology films are for you.

there is precedent in the EU for using the force to suppress or wipe someone's memory.

Yup, if I were Rian Johnson, I would go that way. Let's say Rey was being trained as a child before the KoR exterminated the jedi Luke was training. Perhaps, Luke used the force to wipe her memory, had her dropped off on Jackuu where Max Von Sydow's character watched over her (sort of like Ben did w/a young Luke Skywalker). So if she lost memory of the training, but still possessed some of the jedi training skillset, to me that would explain how she seemed more advanced in the force than she should have been. If Kylo Ren exterminated the jedi at age 19-20, and Rey was around 10 years old when this all happened, it would make sense. Either way, I'm hoping the new director (Johnson) goes in a more interesting direction in explaining Rey's backstory, instead of doing the obvious in saying Luke is her dad.

Rey is the offspring of the force, making her Anakin's sister. This is Disney, folks. The white man screwed up everything. Now we have the white woman coming to fix everything. Girl power. She doesn't need any training. If great force sensitivity is all that is needed, why need Yoda, Luke, etc all need extensive training?

That's stretching quite a bit. I think she'd British for the same reason everyone in Game of Thrones sounds British. It just sounds better for epic fantasy stories.

You were bitching about this before the release too right?

You should just accept it. Rey will be a Skywalker.

I barely posted about Star Wars before it was released. And never said anything about Rey

Rey will be a sky walker

I don't really have a problem with that.

Come on, Lando might be black, but there's no way he'd just abandon his son to the First Order.

You guys haven't read enough of the Star Wars books.

Don't read if you don't want to.
Hint: having twins run in the skywalker family.

Because his British accent sounded weird coming from an escaping stormtrooper. That is literally the reason.

Good thing those books aren't canon.

Agree with this. Ren & Rey are twins or at least brother and sister.

I don't know if Rey is a Skywalker, though I think she is.

What is clear is that she was the second child sent to train with Luke along with Kylo Ren.
