I always joke about my 32# miniature dachshund. Five or so years ago, I was at El Josey Wales' house using his laptop checking tigerdroppings. A few days later, my avatar was changed to what it is now unbeknownst to me. He created it and wanted to see how long it would take for me to notice. EJW is no longer with us, but I feel that he's smiling down at me every time my avatar is posted.

Even though some people think I'm old enough to have seen the Little Rascals when it was a new show, I'm not. But I did watch a lot of Our Gang and Little Rascals as a kid. Darla didn't let the boys push her around. She was a boss!

It's one of the greatest pictures ever taken and it reminds me of how much arse the 80's kicked. How so much awesome was fit on one frame is beyond me.
