Garland is a Vietnam vet baw. I do agree though he has lost his voice.

I also want to mention bob frost talks like he just took a cock out of his mouth everytime he does a traffic report.

replace Scott Alexander with Gus and I agree with you.

Kaare should be on 870, he's one of the best in the city.

Bobby wouldnt stay for me though, he's terrible.

I've always felt WWL should program 870 as all news/talk with the exception of Saints (and maybe LSU football games) and 1350 as a true sports station with a mix of local and national sports hosts, as well as LSU basketball and baseball.

But assuming the current blend, I'd like to see:
6-10 AM Dave Cohen. I do not understand why he doesn't have a full time hosting slot. Every time he fills in, he does great. They can keep the news update guys.

10 AM - 1 PM Scoot - I like him. Everyone seems to think he's too liberal or too conservative, which is a great spot for a talk host.

1 PM - 4 PM - I would put Don Dubuc here, but I don't think he can do this and still keep doing the outdoors guy thing, and I'd rather him keep the outdoors gig. Eric Asher might fit well here. I don't know if there is anyone else in the WWL stable that works here. Another option here is Bob Mitchell if he wants to go back to full time.

4 PM - 8 PM - Sportstalk With T-Bob and Seth Dunlap. These are the two future stars of WWL, and if they don't give them a legit spot, they will be gone.

8 PM - Midnight - Spud. I always thought he was great for this city, and a nighttime slot means he has to be less serious.

Gus, he's starting now on the ESPN 100.3. He can't seem to stay anywhere long, I wonder why. Kaare is terrible. Deke and Garic need to go. Bobby would fit in well with a local all sports channel, maybe.

As far as the Food show, I think the weekend show is much better than the daily show. The daily show he is always desperate for topics, and inviting chefs on the radio is just awful radio. A four hour show on Saturdays is perfect for him.

Kaare Johnson - premiere talk radio host in New Orleans, deserves a prime slot on the mothership station

This dude is a fricking idiot.

All does is attack and vilify anyone that dare not agree with him and his social and political views.

Deke "Big Chief" Bellavia - curt with callers and horrible coon arse accent

If you think that is a coon arse accent then you have no idea it is. Deke is a dago from Amite, calling him a coon arse is a insult to self respecting coon asses.
