Car purchase question

The wife and I are investigating 3 cars:
1) 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (~38k)
2) 2015 Volvo XC60 (~40k)
3) 2015 Infiniti v70 (~40k)
Throwing the question out here for people with more experience. Any pros/cons to either of these 3 brands given the price? I have the assumption that Volvo is most reliable among those 3 but maybe that's just my perception. I believe all 3 will easily be able to hold our crap plus our 2 kids and their crap.
Any other thoughts given those price points? Positive or negative experience with those brands or cars?

Jeep gets a bunch of hate- they used to be unreliable and were in the shop all of the time, but I have a 2006 with 160,000 trouble free miles on it- my MIL is driving it now. I would have gotten another one if the back seat wasn't so small- I got tired of the kids kicking my seat.

I have had Jeeps with work. I would never personally own one.

I would get a 16 Pilot Elite.
Bias aside...Its a tough one of those choices...

While the Pilot Elite is a nice vehicle, it is too expensive with all the add ons fron the dealer. Pushed the total to over $52k.

Out of those, I would probably go with the Volvo but I would also consider the Acura

I would go Volvo or Jeep. The Volvo may not be as reliable as you think and the repairs are not cheap.

My wife has a an Infiniti Qx60, tech and touring package. Awesome vehicle. Looked at a Jeep Laredo but felt just like a truck. Our SUV feels just like a fast car.

Hole Lee shite. I must have been under a rock for the past couple of years.

The pilot elite looks much nicer than the old square pilots but still looks like a mini-van not trying to be a mini-van, to me at least.
Also, yea, those things are damn expensive with all the fancy bells and whistles.

Agreed. They are getting insane. We do not add anything on to ours...yet we lose deals because we are not discounting much. Big difference discounting off of MSRP than off of a Bump Sticker.

They jump up QUICK. Just bought a Pilot EX-L for $36k. I had to find one without $1000 running boards and stuff

Why are these Honda pilots in such high demand? I would never pay $52k for a Honda, no less a van.

It's a Honda? Suckers will probably run to 200k with only a few thousand in repairs over 10 years. If that much.
Anyone have any experience with Inifiniti's? Those little 'shoe like' Infiniti v70s are growing on me.

Zero defects and 24 mpg.
I drive (mostly) like someone who plays by the rules.

Good to know. Thanks.
We service our vehicles quite routinely for the regular tire rotation and oil changes. I'd imagine any brand can get some lemons but when I'm about to drop 30-40k on a car, just like to do as much research as possible.

Coach, my wife was so irritated with the shitty level of customer service and all the things they added on top of a $47k vehicle, that she didn't even want to go talk to another dealership about a Pilot. They added things like lighted running boards - $2k, sun roof visor - $300, vehicle protection package - $400, etc. The most they were moving on the price was $1k which would have been fine if we could have chosen any add ons ourselves. The worst thing is that they only showed the base MSRP online and that is what I was expecting to see, not some bloated price with extra stuff we didn't want.
We went just down the street, test drove the 2016 Highlander and ended up buying that day.
