tOSU didn't run HUNH nearly enough this year.

They used it exclusively vs Michigan and we all saw how that worked out.

That's called "check with me" just FYI.

I think UNC would deserve to be in if they wouldn't have played two FCS teams. They would have had basically the same resume as 2014 tOSU.

Those are hard to overlook though.

Y'all have a fun QB

I think because of the decision to play Cardell. I think you saw Beck's influence some last Saturday. The worst mistake was having the OL coach and Beck call plays like they did at K State when Miller left.

Becks favorite two plays when I was around him were

71/9 Hot Check with Me
3/5 Poke. Poke with Elliot is a monster play. But for some reason they did not run it much they tried to inside zone things way too much.

Not exactly because we scheduled two P5 OOC games this year. We will have played 11 games against P5 teams this year. There aren't many teams in the country that can say that. Also, while I wish we had played a Hawaii instead of FCS NC A&T, the latter would be favored against quite a few FBS teams including Hawaii (who Ohio State played).

Where will North Carolina be ranked in this week's rankings?

With a game to play and a chance to move up. I do not think tOSU can move up anymore.

They have topped out, due to not playing this weekend.

Should be #8. Likely #10 if we're lucky with this committee voting. Only thing I can guarantee is we'll be behind Stanford with the heavy Cardinal ties on the committee.

Probably, because they can still win their conference and it seems that's all the committee cares about.

And the fact that Stanford had a much better win on Saturday.

Remember when I told you Carolina was going to make a run after the first week of rankings and you told me I was crazy?

I also told you that the rankings set up as elimination games, you argued that also?

They, the committee has done exactly what it has set out to do...make a poll that does not matter dominate the landscape of talk and social media.

Jeff Long has been saying that conference champions come into play if the teams are basically equal. They have been giving themselves an out.

I don't think either Clemson or Bama lose, so it's a moot point.

I think UNC has a shot at Clemson. A damn good shot, actually.

They have as much of an argument as Oklahoma. Maybe even more so.

UNC's loss was in the first game of the season to a USCe team that nobody expected to be as bad as they turned out to be. OU's loss was in mid-season to a Texas team that was bad going in and got worse as the season progressed.

I didn't argue that.

I argued that's not how it should be.

Didn't someone discuss putting money on UNC to win it all and hedge it?

I agree, but I don't think that VT loss was nearly as bad as South Carolina looks this year. I'll buy the argument that maybe it's not as bad if their coach doesn't retire in the middle of the season.

lol. The ugly loss is the only thing they have in common with us. Good thing there were other games played.

No they wouldn't. OSU had 3 wins over top 25 teams to UNC's 1, and OSU had a road win over a top 10 team and beat the 13th ranked team by 60

How are those comparable?
