I've had some time to digest last night...

As a 16 year season ticket holder, I think I'm finally done with supporting an administration that embraces mediocrity. This is going one of two ways.... Miles gets his No. 1 recruiting class but won't fix the offense and we have a another 8-5 to 9-4 season and again get drilled by Bama. Or. Miles will make a few changes and make it to 11-2 by the skin of his teeth and the administration will reward him with turning the downward trend around and a new 5 year contract with a raise... Either way, the future is not what I expected of our once elite program.
I'm tired of the position recruiting problems, the lack of player development, the nauseating play calling and the lack of intelligence and order during games.
I want a coach who is smart enough to see that the road to any championship is through Bama, and to recruit, train and game plan to beat them every year. That's what they are doing and are years ahead of us.
With that said, I will be watching on tv and yelling but will NOT be spending my money on LSU football anymore. My Tix are East Upper on the 20 yard line if anyone wants them...

It's hard to make it to games when you're literally menstruating all the time.

Prepare to get absolutely SLAMMED.
But it's LSU Groundhog Day for many and people will vote by being less enthusiastic about the team.
Every game I go to is a $400 dollar investment and eleven hours of my time.
So it's logical that some people will decide to bail.

OP:
Just give it up. All of your observations are completely justified and valid. However, your entire perspective is quite wrong. Let me tell you why.
Your observations and comments would be completely on point if LSU were a pro football team. LSU is NOT a pro football organization. It's not run like an NFL franchise. The expectations are not the same as one would see for an NFL team.
LSU football is an amateur football program where college kids play football in exchange for a free education and enough national exposure to give them a good shot at playing for the NFL one day.
Stop thinking of LSU football as some kind of pro football endeavor, because in the NFL, each team has one and only one goal -- to win the Superbowl. When an owner loses confidence in his Head Coach's ability to win the SB, the HC is fired.
The LSU football program does not exist solely to win National Championships. There are many other competing reasons and purposes for its existence, such as, mentoring young athletes, providing a football team that brings students and alumni together during the fall, representing LSU well and making money. Those are the main purposes of the LSU football program.
Any championships or awards are nice to have and very welcome, but, these accolades are ancillary indicia of success in football competition, but they are not indicators of how well LSU football does in those other, JUST AS IMPORTANT areas. Those other main areas that I mention are just as important, but, there are no trophies for mentoring a student, visiting a sick kid, being a respected and beloved part of the LSU community, and so forth.
So, stop expecting LSU football to be something it is not. It's an amateur sporting endeavor that represents a State University, not a pro football franchise.
There are a few college football programs that have the same demands that are placed on an NFL team, but, LSU is not one of those programs.

Cool story, bro.
You're probably one of those guys who leaves at halftime anyway. Maybe the one who buys your ticket will be a better fan.

Bye Felicia. Take all of these other whiny entitled bitches with you. Better tickets for the rest of us who support the players and school no matter the outcome of the season or who the coach is.

is not what I expected of our once elite program.
Um, before Saban arrived, LSU was not only not elite, it was an automatic 3-6 loss annually program for a 100 years--and most of those seasons were with 11 or fewer games. And one natl championship.
Saban created excitement at LSU and Miles maintaining that excitement for a few years created expectations, such as fans calling LSU an "elite program." Meanwhile our competitors are quietly upgrading their HCs, and we're beginning to notice the results.
Miles will be gone within two years. So will Freeze and Mullen and Bielema and Saban. The new SECw is like the NFL. Even the Super Bowl champs lose games.
Within three years, we will have an eight-team playoff.
Geaux Tigers!
