Had tickets and had to give them away because of a work-related event.

I remember the guy, a local bar owner, was thrilled to get them and I would have been thrilled to go.

I was at the 97 Indy Bowl vs. Notre Dame. Froze my arse off.

I camped out to get tickets as well. Was actually me and my ex wife's second date. I kicked a field goal in Tiger Stadium the night we camped out.

I was in the house for it. As stated above cold as shite. Remember the x-game commercials and that stupid song, hooking up whatever the gaming system of the time was to the hotel tv, parking across town in a grass field, and almost getting into a fight trying to get back on the bus to go back to the parking lot.

First bowl game experience for me. Great times.

I personally accept responsibility for 1/9/12. I wore this shirt in '03 & '07 when we won.

I didn't wear it in '12 because we went to that game and let's just say I have outgrown it - as in Chris Farley 'fat guy in a little coat' outgrown it.

You owe coach Miles a fricking apology.

I was at that game. We had a blast, especially in the 3Q. I couldn't speak for a few days after that game due to all of the loud screaming and cheering during the excitement. After the futility of the Archer and Hallman years, that game was a welcome return to at least some basic level of relevancy.

Yep. Went to several Indy Bowls and can't remember one that I did not freeze my arse off. Was also there when Miss. State played Texas A & M and it came a blizzard during the game. Seemed like a foot of snow. Couldn't see the field.

I was there.
Good times.
Also in the same stadium when the no. 1 ranked and defending National Champion LSU Tigers beat the Baylor Bears in 1959.
