Besides the obvious turkey, stuffing, and all that?

My dad makes my grandma's sweet potato casserole that is amazing. I don't know what's in it (besides sweet potatoes), but it's amazing. Someone in my family also brings homemade sausage and chicken gumbo that I enjoy more than the turkey.

Cranberry sauce and cornbread dressing are must-haves for me. And wine.

Rolls to sop up the gravy and mushy sides are a must too.

This is actually one of the things I could do without. I don't like vegetables done with sugar/cinnamon/etc., and most sweet potato casseroles are.

As I have gotten older, I dont even eat one piece of turkey. When I go somewhere different for thanksgiving I always hear "No you have to try my turkey, you will LOOOOOOVE it."

No I wont. The truth is turkey just isnt very good
