I think it could possibly be Chip Kelly ...its almost a guarantee that the eagles fire him at the end of the year...

Everyone hated Jimbo when he was here. Why would anyone want him as HC?

Could someone with a reasonable brain please explain why Gruden would be a good hire? He has not coached in 8 years. It has been 20 plus years since he was a college assistant. How successful would he be at recruiting? Putting together a staff of assistants that have no interest to coach in NFL bc to me that would the only assistants he would be able to hire. Ones who would learn from him and jump to NFL to be assistants/coordinators. The Gruden pumped need to stop. I like him on ESPN and think he is knowledgable offensively and makes the game interesting. I don't think he wants the pressure of being a coach anymore or would want to coach at college level. Plus he signed a big extension with ESPN thru 2021.

Really bright coach. Won in Oakland. Oakland.

He's a superstar in the football world, which means he'd be able to recruit. Considered a QB guru (Tuiasosopo indicates otherwise) and a brilliant WCO proponent.

Gruden was a really smart coach who got decent results. His reputation and personality supersede his actual accomplishments, however. He won a Superbowl with Tony Dungy's roster, and his career as a coach was ended by Tom Cable.
