I have gotten away with more grammatical errors in school than the OT. I can say you guys really earned those gold stars in grade school.

Well, since the designation for a certified engineer is "Professional Engineer" (P.E.), I would like to think so...

Licensed engineer is definitely a professional. I could swing either way for unlicensed and I'm one of those, lol.

Are we talking about licensed professional engineers?

Or a plant operator? Or a building stationary engineer?

There are worlds apart from all three.

People are confusing "professional degree" with "professional."

I think anyone who works in an office type setting can be considered professional. From CEO to Secretary, if its a professional setting then its a professional job..

You paid, you pro.

I think that you are looking for what is categorized as a profession. Many many occupations are.

I don't believe that you're an engineer. None of the successful (re: professional) engineers I know, have the time to seek attention on the OT.
