The LSU System has overwhelming financial problems- no buyout of Miles.

t seems your issue is with Alleva and not Les Miles
We certainly don't like that shithead bastard either
It's good to see we can remain adults through this thing.

Then how in the hell did he hold LSU hostage for the Arkansas job? He didn't. It was in his contract to get a raise
who said anything about him holding LSU hostage...he and his agent let it be known Arkansas was a knocking...why would they do that?

The athletic department is completely independent of the LSU system. Private donors could pay his buyout 4 times over.

What drives me crazy is Bama loses guys every year just like we do, but you rarely (if ever) see them drop out of contention. We deserve (and we're capable) to have a program every bit as good as that!
I hope you know that this is not the norm, and every program in the country strives for this exact thing... Pretty sure only two teams in the country can claim this type of success.. One has a once in a lifetime coach, the other has zero competition up there

Bama is able to get their guys back because they enjoy knowing they'll be in contention every year. That defense at one point had 6-7 seniors on the field. That's crazy.

So are you agreeing/disagreeing or what? I don't know whether or not to call you names

Paraphrasing: He said that donors have said they have the money now if they wanted to buy him out and the difference between the money this year and next is not substantial. He also said for the first time he feels Miles is in trouble.

Losing 1 game in 2 years and winning a championship?
The poster you responded to was saying he didn't trust Jimbo Fisher to run a clean program after letting Jameis Winston get away with all the bullshite he pulled at FSU. Fisher turned a blind eye to Winston's antics and when you recruit kids like that and allow them to run roughshod over a program, like good ole Jimbo did, you're running the risk of getting the NCAA to start investigating the program. None of us would want that. It's not worth it. Not to me anyway.

I actually hope we get blown out by Ole Miss. Change is right there on the horizon...
Just wanted to quote this because I have been RA'd and flamed for saying that numerous people have posted that they are actually pulling for LSU to lose and I was told that wasn't true.

Pretty damn sad to see some of the posts that have popped up the last few weeks. I have had several posters blast me when I have stated that there are some people wishing that LSU would lose just to make Miles look bad.
It's just sad and pathetic. Quite a fanbase.

I hope LSU wins their remaining games, but I also hope of winning the powerball lottery. I consider my chances are close to zero on either one.

I think it has more to do with the team not improving over the course of the season. Which is pretty much the norm for a Miles coached team
Can anyone explain this? The team has often gotten WORSE as the year goes on. Why can't a good coach come in next season and win the West, IF the team has the talent that so many claim it does. I say it does not, so better to part with Miles now.
