No he's not babbling. I had a prominent booster tell me the same thing Sunday. Some want Miles gone now.

Yes. I am not so convinced of the talent on this team especially on the lines.

I agree, but Alexander was a projected 1st round pick. Pocic and Clapp were highly rated, and IIRC the Samoan guy was a five star. So if we missed on talent evaluation, so did everyone else. Or are they not being coached up?

Any of those are possible. I think player development is a huge deficiency of Coach Miles. Whatever it is, he is not getting it done.

Yeah, it takes us way too long to develop a lot of the talent on the team.

I just feel like we are going to wait until we waste the Fournette, Harris, Chi, Adams, Godchaux, Clapp class.

It's amazing how attitudes toward LSU football have changed through the years. Charlie McClendon had one stellar season, his first (1962), and Tiger fans then proceeded to endure 17 seasons of mediocrity with a man who's now regarded as a legend in Death Valley.

I lived through the second half of the Cholly Mac years. I wouldn't say he's a legend.

He gets points for longevity, but he had a mediocre record, especially in the SEC.

They had two bad games for crying out loud. And yes they are playing that high rated freshman, and for being freshmen, they are playing outstanding.

With 1 less game LSU is still #10 in rushing offense. The closest sec team is Tenn at 29.

Some of you need to back off the ledge.

the rant has a ton of head coaches, general managers and athletic directors. we should be able to fix all LSU problems from this list of great talent.

I've always been a Miles fan, but I think it's time to let him go. He emotionally drains you and hyped up the next year to get you pumped, and then the same thing happens every year. We need knew life in this program

we don't have to be a coach to be able to recognize the problems on the field.

By your logic, I can't complain about a politician if I've never held elected office. Or complain about a teacher if I've never taught in the classroom.

Just nonsense.

Pocic

Was recognized multiple weeks early this season. He is a legitimate NFL quality center.

Something else is going on - mixed signals, chemistry (possibly altered by the injury bug on the OL) - whatever it is, it was a marked change from before the bye to the Bama game.

I don't resent getting beat - Bama just doesn't lose very many games anymore - but the very consistent way we got beat in 2 games (30 - 16 versus 31-14 - honestly neither game was that close) - we didn't look any better against Arkansas (Fournette did - a little and Harris had a monster of an individual game - those were substantive differences). Basically the offense played better (almost impossible to not do so from Bama), yet the defense played worse.

Heck, overall, I thought Arkansas did a better job of getting us down and keeping us down than Bama did - purely from a subjective standpoint - imposing their will on offense, versus "getting lucky" (although Arky did appear to get lucky on a couple of plays)

Charlie Mac and Les are eerily similar. Followed national title winning coach. Had early success then could not beat Bama. And ran a extremely conservative offense.
