I am just short of 6'3 and am usually about 4-5 inches taller than a lot of people claiming 6'0".

Saw a young woman in the grocery store the other day who was a couple inches over 6' wearing flats. I saw her on several aisles, then ahead of me in the checkout line. All she bought, after all that shopping, was two packages of boudin. Asked about a military discount.

I'm 6'3 so it really isn't anything that makes me uncomfortable but when I see high school kids who tower over me, that's a bit upsetting

I'm only 6ft 7in and I only hang out with people from the OT so I'm used to hanging out with people that are a good 7-8 inches taller than me. It's humbling, but you get over it.

I'm 6'4 and yes it is even strange when I am talking to other folks that are the same height. It makes me realize that I always have my head at a slight downward angle and someone the same height makes it level.
I rarely have people taller than me but it is different at first.

Hundreds of thousands don't post. It's the same hundred or so who make up the bulk of posts. And it's not just this thread. Any thread regarding height gets the same responses. And ftr, I'm 6'5.
