Just ran into a LSU player's parent

He tells me that the quaterback transfer from Purdue, Danny Etling, has a great chance of starting next year. It looks like he got a good bit of PT while at Purdue. I'm not sure why he transferred and I know he had to sit out this year but this info comes from a current player who sees him in practice.

The next victim of the Miles offense. Prayers sent.

Does it matter? Our offense is the opposite of Baylor's. Plug in a player to theirs and they thrive. Plug one into ours and they look like a walk on.

I don't believe that, but I think we would be more willing to make a switch. He does have a good arm. Harris is running through the gauntlet of the SEC and Etling will be at square 1. I can't see that being the case.

lol. There was a reason he transferred. Just stop. No way he is getting reps to show what he can do during the season.

If Les Miles says anything about the transfer starting it is bullshite and you can take that to the bank.

Would be another of many dumb moves by Miles. Ride Harris to the end, that's how he gets better. It's why Brandon Allen is so good today

His stats at Purdue are terrible and he got replaced by a player who got benched this season for a redshirt frosh thats also played mediocre.
If he starts next year LSU might as well pack it up.

I agree! I'm just passing on the info the parent told me while waiting to board my plane. He had an LSU shirt on and we started talking about how embarrassing the loss was.

If we want Frank's we better promise him starting job like Florida has to have any chance

Does he look good handing the ball off?

Was that Mr. Etling you ran into?

I watched the etling kid in some of the preseason practices and came away extremely impressed. Not sure if he's good enough to start in the SEC, but he will definitely contend.

He couldn't win with Mettenberger, j. Hill, Landry, and Odell. It must be the players. I'm sure of it. Lmao

Nope, it was the father of one of the offensive lineman.

This is a hilarious post. Danny Etling, Brandon Harris, Tom Brady, Joe Montana....it doesn't matter who plays QB at LSU, because Les Miles will handcuff them.

doesn't matter who plays QB at LSU because the O line sucks.

fricking Harris isn't the problem. Why the frick would a player who isn't good enough for Purdue be good enough for LSU
