You expect more than the best 10 year stretch in lsu history?
You expect more than a top 5-6 win % in sec history?

Look if we lose out Miles needs to go but stop acting like his tenure wasn't the best we've ever had

We're not paying him to be better than former LSU teams with multi loss seasons.

Try again.

Miles has been extremely well paid for what he has done. But sometimes you have to live in the present and look to the future. You're like a woman that wears a bikini in her 80s, since she used to look good in one

Miles leaving won't make your herpes go away. Why don't we meet up during the next game at TS. It'll be fun for me.

Watch out internet badass here. That's two people on an Internet forum you've tried to fight irl. It makes you look the exact opposite of what you think it does.

IMHO, Coach Miles will get a chance to coach the team next season, because I honestly do not believe that LSU will make a change at HC after this season.

It seems most likely that Coach Miles will be at LSU next season for LF7's final year, to bring on this great upcoming recruiting class, and to oversee Harris's growth at QB.

I don't know what the W/L record will be next year, nor do I care to hazard a guess; it could be great, it could be not so great.

the only way I want him seeing any QB "growth" is from a suite high atop TS. I hope you are joking.

I'm just sharing with you what I think LSU's powers that be are thinking.

I'm quite sure I have made my own opinion of Coach Miles very clear on this board. His "abilities" no longer provide the program with the best chance of success.

Those people were more like Les Miles fans than they were actual LSU fans. It was almost cult like.

That's a retarded line of thinking.

People are fans of Les because he had our favorite team winning games and winning games at the most successful rate in school history.

It's ridiculous to think other wise. Sry that you and the people who are like minded had such a miserable time during this era. You missed out on a lot of fun

There are a lot of young, energetic coaches that would thrive with what LSU has to offer.

No way in hell Joe Alleva will be able to ID who those coaches are. The search process will have to be taken over by LSU Power Brokers and Insiders who know wtf is going on and just exactly what the program requires. Alleva will just have to step back and be the symbolic representative of what's taking place behind the scenes...............

i think it is much more likely he would consider retiring/resigning after next year, which would allow a lot more flexibility in the transition to another coaching staff.

I'm about resigned to this.

Which, if he announces after this season that he's retiring at the end of next season, that's about the best you can hope for.

LSU would have the top 1 or 2 picks from any available coaches on the market.

I think this has changed significantly with the playoff system. It's much easier to reach the playoff in a weak conference now, so why would a coach prefer the SEC? Maybe I'm wrong, but I see the draw to weaker divisions.
