This question may had already come up but will there be a GoFundme page set up for Sid? I know the tiger nation would definitely show huge support for Sid and his family.

THIS!!! We lost our 15 yr. old son to cancer earlier this year. Like Sid, he was blessed to get to know the LSU football team during his fight. Jamie K. was actually a pall bearer and very good friend to our son. The Ortis family needs prayer from all of us to get through this unimaginable time in their lives. It is not an easy or short term journey. If the Ortis family is reading this and our family can help yours in any way, let me know and we will give you our contact information.

To the parents of Sid. I have six children and can not under any circumstances imagine or know how I would survive what you have been through since discovering Sid had cancer. I offer you the most sincere and heartfelt prayers and know that only the presence of the living God, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit make any kind of composure possible at times like this. Not only did Sid show us how to live well and pass on in dignity, your honor to you son is how you handle his passing and is an inspiration to all of us who got to know about Sid and your family though the entertainment known as football. LIFE is what you are experiencing and I can only pray that if such a cup is given to me that I will be able to drink from it as you have done and will continue to do in the future.
May The Lord of Hosts, Creator of the Universe and Promiser of eternal glory live in you, reign in you, and be your every fount of comfort.

A friend of mine has some connections to the community in which Sid was from. He showed me some really touching and inspirational photor of his friends gathering around his bed and praying for him.
He had a great deal of love And faith surrounding h during his final days from what I saw. It was really touching.
