My mother is in stage 4 now with renal cancer and at home like Sid was at the end. I pray my family can have the grace that Sid and his family demonstrated.
Kudos to Sid and his faily for setting such a great example for us all.

Jesus, in his wisdom and love, ensured Sid is going to have the game of games Saturday...he can run with Leonard, throw with Brandon, catch with Travon and Malachai, kick with Trent, snap with Ethan, sprint with Donte, wreak havoc with Jalen, Kendall and Arden...and command the troops with Les.

Been at the hunting club with no internet access. Just wanted to stop by and pay my respects. I think it is wonderful that Sid's family were willing to share the story of their son and his life with us publicly. He touched many lives including mine and I hope he will get to watch the game this weekend in heaven.
God bless Sid and his family and I hope God gives all of those left behind the strength to find comfort in knowing that their son was truly a blessing during his time on this earth.

I have children, but if i have to pray to a Deity to help me overcome a deadly illness, that he had the power to prevent. I just can't. But I do feel for his parents, and respect his courage. Rest in peace and may you become a stately oak on the campus of LSU.
