Heaven got an angel this morning: SID ORTIS RIP

Sid finished his marathon this morning around 7:30. His legacy of living life to the last moment and inspiring others to walk in the path righteousness will live on. Prayers for healing hearts as they start on the journey of grieving the loss of Sid. Ellen Davis Lynn Allen Ortis
Let's all pray for peace for the family. What an inspiration to us all. Heaven gained a beautiful angel and that angel will be watching over the Tigers next weekend! Thank you SID and Rest in Peace big guy.

I've lost two very close people in the past year to cancer.
One was a child.
I wanted to share this bible verse that I quoted at her funeral.
Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength.
