The key victory is Brandon Harris completion percentage. If he can connect on 70-75% of his passes the tigers should roll.

15 to 18 times. Which I'm ok with if they aren't all screens and flares into the flats.

We are going to try to control the clock, so I would expect a heavy dose of LF. Only way he throws 25+ is if we're down significantly in the 2nd half and they manage to completely shut down our run game.

That's true of almost any team, ever.

More. He will have to because we won't be able to pound the rock against Bama's front 7 like we are used to.

Well, yeah that would be nice.....but completion percentage is overrated. He just needs to be a viable threat. I'll take 50% if he is throwing deep to keep the safeties honest and converting 3rd downs.

25 passes at 75% completion on the road against Bama would be an "all-time" performance for an LSU QB

That would likely be 200+ yards with insane efficiency.

I'm inclined to prefer a 50 %comp WITH a +9 yds/comp (or 60% with +6 yds/att). That means we're converting 3rd downs and sustaining drives. Assumes at least 25 carries for LF7 (no matter the yds/att for him).

Of course, except for those dink-dunk plays ONLY to keep them honest or setup something else, they don't work very well vs Bama (or us) because of speed and rapid key-reading. Everybody knows that. Or should.

The question is, is if Bama will force BH to throw more than 25 times. Cam and Brandon will take what bama gives them, that simple.

Les always pulls out the stops for these big games. I honestly believe he has something in store for Bama.

LF will defintely get his touches, but I actually predict a ZM 2012 Bama type game called for BH.

Before the Bama game in 2012, I think ZM's highest # of pass attempts was 22. Against Bama, he threw it 35 times.

I see lots of throws early in the game on 2nd and medium and 2nd and short. Maybe lots of throws on first down too, but that depends on how well LF does with his first down touches.

If harris is passing 25 times that means lsu running game is faltering and they are playing from behind.

Only passed more than 25 times once, so I'd say if he exceeds that here, then LSU is in trouble (i.e., likely well behind in the second half).

This game we will see the inauguration of Air Fournette.

Jump pass from the wildcat...halfback pass...pass back to Harris...etc.

Saban will tell Kiffin "I'm a little tired of this crap!"
Kiffin will say "Nick, you're a little everything."
