dline will be essentially the same.

lbs:

I think Alexander, Riley, Voorhies will be the starters with Riley in the middle.

cbs:

Tolliver and Jackson starters. Tons of options behind them. I would guess Fulton cracks the 2 deep and Paris is 3rd corner.

Safeties:

Jefferson and Adams. Battle still 3rd guy in. Other 2 deep will be up for grabs.

Nickel:

Xavier Lewis/Saivion Smith

I hate myself for it, but I hope Beckwith gets a late 2nd or 3rd round grade and comes back to improve his stock.

That said, he's going to be a late 1st or early 2nd round pick. He's gone.

Next year's defense could resemble 2011 with the talent we will have on the line and in the secondary. Hopefully the LBs step up and some freshman come in ready to contribute.

What no love for Greedy? Looks to be really natural and fluid in press coverage, something the greats at LSU excelled in early on reminds me of Tharold Simon with more physicality and better awareness

I know it's kind of off topic, but I've seen several people express the sentiment that "next year is our year" if we don't win it all this year. I'm not trying to be a pessimist but I just don't see it. The offense is going to take a big step back after losing Alexander, Hawkins, and Pocic. The linebackers are going to be a big weakness.
Keeping Beckwith is a pipe dream.

Run Defense and Run offense are what make us so good this year, so unless we completely revamp the philosophy next year, it'll be re-load mode.

The D-Line (especially regarding depth) and secondary (possibly) could be improved.

The skill players should be improved if only for the extra year of experience, but I expect to see a fairly sizeable decline in overall offense.
