Him and Joc Pederson were the 2 most undeserving all stars of all time.

Not just rookies, but stars huh?
You're dumb.

He wasn't even the best rookie on that team.

considering the last comment you made about a dodger all star, you just cemented jocs status as a future HOFer

ROY is older than the MVP

Yes.

even though he'll likely win it, the award today isn't THE Rookie of the year award. The official RoY award is from the BBWAA in November

I read all the posts in this thread, but don't even know what I read, as those beautiful piercing blue eyes were burned into my brain.

as someone that watched every game, he was better than schwarber

I'm really high on schwarber. But no.

Coming from the guy that said Western Kentucky had a 40% chance of going into Tiger Stadium on Saturday night and coming out with a W. You might literally be the dumbest poster on this entire board.

Maybe if you only watched the playoffs.
Congrats to Kris

I was mostly kidding. But what he did in 400 less plate appearances than Bryant is pretty remarkable.

Everyone has Schwarber's postseason in the front of their minds. But Bryant played in 82 more games. BUT, just for fun and really cherry picking all the best ESPN "stats" to linearly extrapolate, Schwarber would have hit 35 HR, drove in 94 RBI, walked 79 times and K'd 169 times in 151 games. That's about where Bryant is...except Schwarber falls short in K's (good), but bests Bryant in HR by 9 and BB by 2.
Bryant played good defense...I'm not sure what the measurables would tell me for advanced defensive statistics, but from the naked eye he was a legitimate 3B for someone who seemingly was being written off to the outfield.
I think had they both played 151 games it would have been an extremely close call...Addison Russell's bat keeps him out of the discussion, but it shouldn't. He was unbelievable in the field.

Bryant could have easily had 100 RBIs this season but took two walks in the final game of the season with runners in scoring position.
KosmoCramer takes that award hands down

Schwarber will need to be traded to an AL team in a few years, he's an abortion in the OF
