From what they've shown it doesn't look that good. Coker has a slow release, he's not that accurate, and their receivers aren't that impressive. Henry is a train, but they don't have a playmaker that scares you like LSU has in Dupre or Dural. I think LSU will be able to do to Bama what teams did to LSU last year. Stack it with 8-9 and take chances.

Bama won't be able to do that to LSU. LSU has the better OL, better QB, better RB, and better WRs. A caliber of offense that Alabama has yet to see this year. Texas A&M doesn't have a good offense IMO. They can't run a lick just like Ole Miss.

Yet Bama gets the benefit of the doubt on how good they're "team" is. Their offense sucks.

I'm focusing on WKU in my fan preparations. We should all take it one week at a time. The team could easily lose if we talk about Bama.

What encourages me is that we haven't played our best game of the year yet. I hope we get that on 11/7 or the entire month of November.

Basically, they are LSU 2011: Great defense, below average offense riding it's coattails.

I really think it comes down to ratings and ' ama is the clear winner. That means money. You may be correct about the Tide O, but LSU has a secondary that goes taffy now and again.

Look for some very curious calls if the game goes against 'Bama.

Agreed, but Coker is a gamer. He likes to improvise and can break the playbook open. This can also lead to a lot of mistakes if the defense plays it right.

Agreed.

LSU has in Dupre or Dura

Meh. They are talented. I don't think they "scare" anybody.

This will be the gameplan in the first half.

They will absolutely try it.

Agreed, but those players aren't playing against Bama's offense. They have to play Bama's defense.

Take off the purple and gold glasses for a minute. Bama's strength is all in the depth of the defense. They have a semi-NFL level depth chart right now. They will be able to run the ball at times. Bama has not seen a power team like LSU this year though. If anyone can get push on their front 7, its us. If we can do that, we have a very good shot. LSU will have to force them to turn the ball over. That's the key to beating a Nick Saban team. Also, neither team will want to play special teams. Looks for Miles to go for it on 4th and short in this one.

Their OL is not very good this year. I think our DL can hold him in check. Just a question of whether "DBU" will make Coker pay for mistakes.

Two things to not look over about Bama's offense ...

1. Calvin Ridley has been hot lately

2. Coker's ability to run/escape pocket

Ridley the true FS WR is nasty. He is going to be a good one.

Where we will be fortunate is that even if they are having success running against us, which is what their team is built upon, Kiffin will inexplicably abandon the run game for no reason late in the game.

I watched their game against Texas A&M last night and thought they looked good to okay.

Henry looked good, continuously gashed A&M through the middle. Coker also made some good and bad throws. Thankfully Cooper is gone

Their special teams looks alot like ours. A hot mess

They have the best Defensive line in college football. It will make Florida's Dline look like JV. We have to be able to block them and protect. It will be the best Dline we will play all year even if we beat them and go on to the playoff.

And we have not faced a back like Henry just as they have not faced a back like Fournette. Our propensity to give up big plays in the pass game will have to be fixed because they are going to take some shots and not just on 3rd and 15.

Ridley has been getting hot lately and kinda scares me.

last 3 games (UGA, ARK, A&M) he's gone for 21 rec 312 yds 2 TDs.

I honestly think this will be the difference in the game. LSU simply has more playmakers.

Also, people are focusing on Bama's great front 7 and the middle of their defense, but they are susceptible on the edge. I think that is where LSU can make some big plays, particularly Fournette busting it outside.
