It seems reasonable. One bad experience ruined it for the rest of the fan base. I understand them having an allegiance to certain organizations that may pay top dollar for the space.

Once the group gets to where they expect to win again, they'll probably relax the ban on opposing fans. They've probably taken a lot of shite the last few years. Winning again will allow them to relax a bit.
