This is false. The PGA Tour wanted more money, half a mill more. When its sponsor decided it was too much money the tour pulled the plug. The LA Open raised over $3M for local charities. Turning a profit was never the goal. ...

I've played it as well. The par 5 on the back nine with the boulder in the middle of the fairway is one of my favorite golf holes I've ever played....

Never hit anyone, but I've been hit in the arm while waiting to tee off on first hole. Guy on #9 shanked his approach shot. Buddy of mine was hit in face while "chipping" in the front yard with his brother. Brother bladed it right in his upper lip. Was black and blue for a month....
