Drift mode engaged! Isn't there a waiting list for this car right now?

I would assume it's AWD with that much power?

You would assume correctly.
For OP. Mazda 6 is one of the few midsize sedans with a M/T still.

Honda Accord Sport can be had with a manual.
Buick Regal turbo has very high Consumer Reports ratings and seems like a great choice that can be had with a 6 speed.
Cadillac ATS is supposed to be a great sports sedan. Available with a 6 speed. The two door model looks awesome as well.
My personal favorite is the Chevy SS but I think they are too expensive.

With the amount of people, including regulars, that he still gets to bite on his posts, I'd say it's the opposite of weak. He's up there for best ever IMO.

And OP the BMW 6 series has a stick, I think up until 2013.

That's a pretty ridiculous belief. And my two personal vehicles are manuals.

I've narrowed it down to these two, hard to find though

What's your budget, give or take?

I second this. I saw one when it was still a concept in Nola, and have eyed them at the dealership more than a few times. Theyre pretty sweet.
Subaru WRX would be my second suggestion. Theyre manual, AWD and pretty damn quick. When looking for a new car for the gf we test drove quite a few of them and they were pretty sick little cars.

If you're looking at the Buick go with the GS not the Turbo. They both have the turbo engine but the GS has more power. It also has Brembo brakes, electronically adjustable dampers, Hiper strut front suspension (dials out torque steer), better seats, better looks, better wheels, and 3 inch exhaust. It's also a tune away from over 300hp and 325 lb/ft of torque. In fact GM sells a tune that doesn't void the warranty.

I hate riding the brakes. Every light, every time you want to slow down, or are stopped...without mashing the brakes the car will move forward. It's absurd to me that there isn't a clutch mechanism that keeps the car still under say 1k rpm. I drive rentals all of the time and to me I'd rather drive a manual for a daily.
I drive in traffic and my brake lights almost never light up, everyone else...brake, accelerate, brake, accelerate...it's NOT better.

Are you kidding, if you value long term reliability & trade in....stay away from anything GM. I would also stay away from the VW group that includes Audi.
If you must have stick I would go Honda Accord Sport. It's extremely affordable & reliable

Hyperbolic statement is hyperbolic.

Yea, constantly pushing the clutch in and releasing is very different and easier.

Baw, and Accord is no fun. With cars, sometimes making the best decision isn't always the best decision. You get what I'm saying?

And boring, and not available with premium options, and slow, and ... etc

I can sit totally still in a manual without having to apply the brakes (or any pedal for that matter).

It's called selecting the correct gear and being judicious with the gas pedal.
It doesn't matter. I'm not going to change anyone's mind.
