They're almost comically stupid, like you could just hang Judith stick and carrot style on the front walker and watch as the whole horde follows thema way.

I literally spit out my drink when I read that.

Are you saying you can't reliably make a head shot from a moving vehicle going over rough terrain?

Guess we know who's dying first in the ZA.

Why not blast that road up and out of the quarry so the walkers can't walk out. Make it a huge walker pit with noise makers around it to draw all of them in there with periodic fire bombs dropped inside to thin the herd.

Are two different types of bombs just laying around somewhere?

letting them all burn

Wouldn't kill them. Only makes them crispy critters.

This is likely the Wolves. I'm also convinced the walker herd was the Wolves' doing as well.

I think the wolves used the quarry as the place to set their zombie bombs. Fill up trailers with zombies. Drive the trailer into a stronghold - boom zombie bomb. Remember they did this to another town last season. Now they are pissed their supply is gone.

I don't think so. We already saw the truck depot where they setup the zombie bombs. I don't think they could have controlled the loading of a truck with the sheer number that was at the quarry. I'm sure they knew about it, but don't see how they could have used it.

so do we know if the plan was to just lead them away?

I thought they were going to lead them away and then try and exterminate them somehow. Is that not the feeling most people got?

How the hell do you exterminate that many, especially now that a group that large is probably spread over a mile long on that road?

guessing the entire hoard isn't headed their way because the teaser for next week made it seem like they're dealing with a human threat

no clue, but that was the buildup I was sensing throughout the whole episode. Just leading them away is uneventful, but I guess the horn was the wrench they decided to throw into that.

Yeah but now they have to ability to completely ignore what the end of the plan was and focus on the new development.

It still blows my mind that we havent seen a single moat/pit around any "community" yet.

especially since it seems they have access to tractors and digging tools, etc.

True, but not as a means of protection, just as a way to gather up walkers to use as walker bombs.

Not at all IMO. It was a "shoot the ones that escape through the tiny opening, but we'll lead them many miles away to get them out of our back yard" kind of thing.
