Les is who he is.
On the plus side, his teams play with great toughness and generally do just enough of what is needed to win the game, which at the end of the day is all that matters. His offensive lines are consistently great run blockers and he recruits at a very high level. Generally makes very good staff choices.
On the negative side, his teams routinely play without discipline, as we average over 10 penalties a game every single year. Other mental mistakes are frequent. Neglects the passing game to the point where QBs and receivers can't get into a rhythm. Often plays down to opponents.

A good bit of this
And a whole lotta of this after the games
Im 95% bullish and if I had more confidence in the OC, I would 99.9% Long

Which can change in a heartbeat when we drop a 3 games. Just like everyone is saying "we don't need to pass" while we are winning, but will be singing the opposite tune after a few losses.

This, and it only partially has to do with his on the field record. He's just a tremendous human being.

Arrogant at times, but he gets the job done most of the time and seems like a great individual.

He and Gore were contemporaries at Yale. Bush had a slightly higher GPA. Really amazing that we had an election that, no matter who had won, we would have produced the dumbest president in history.

Great Man.
One of the better coaches in the SEC, but very frustrating to support.

I'm mostly with you. Last year ended more bearish than bullish. This year, probably 75% bullish.
The positive sentiment hit it's peak after Auburn. If Miles (LSU) were a stock, it's price continued rising since Auburn (in terms of ranking, due to the strong running game (LF7) and other teams losing), but some perceived weaknesses are making s lot of fans and pundits think the stock is overvalued and there's some growing pressure to short LSU/Miles now.
I'd also say the sentiment for Miles is pretty volatile. There's strong feelings for and against, and every soundbyte or statistic becomes a rallying point for the two opposing schools of thought.

Notwithstanding GPA's, Gore is a very bright man.
W. is a good man, but not a smart one.
Nor was he a good President.
Les M is likely smarter than W.
BTW, at Yale, as with some other Ivies, it did not require much at the time to make B's.

Great idea, Brosef.
Getting in might be difficult and then, there's the matter of having all that family money that is oh- so-helpful in running for President...

-Hard worker, dedicated to improvement and winning.
With 4 games under their belts against lesser opponents, with a top-notch O-line, multiple 5 star receivers and a 4 star QB and a an offensive genius in Cam, there should be some semblance of a passing game. But there has been zero visible improvement in the passing game. To his credit CLM has built this team to run which he would prefer to do 100% of the time he could get away with it, and LF almost gives him that opportunity. However, LF is so good that CLM can't force himself to let go of the reins on BH and let him toss the ball just to keep the defenses honest. This will be the Tigers downfall during the next stretch of games. If they had a D like they had in 2011 they might be able to get away with this kind of one-sided offensive approach, but 2015 D is a shadow of the 2011 defense and no passing game probably means lopsided losses at Bama and OleMiss, with nailbiters at home against Arkansas and Texas A&M.
