Sure about that? Seems like his first game at receiver was lsu-arky '99. If it was dinardo, it was one game prior vs Houston.

His first game at receiver was against Alabama, had a big reception on what should have been the game winning drive.

Reed was much better at getting separation than most of our current recievers.

Rohan Davey with ODB and Landry....

ETA: I know it's not what y'all are talking about, but I just imagined that trio.

guice at receiver would be a great look. he can catch the ball. I have no doubts about his catching ability AND blocking

Yeah, if you want to limit his touches to like 4 for the rest of the year

As has been said. Guide was the MVP of the Under Army Game playing in the slot. I think he could excel if we put him in the slot here at LSU.

My three would be Quinn Diarse and Dupre.

I don't know enough about Feeguson or Chark.

Johnson looked lost and overmatched when I watched him last night

The three I have mentioned have shown the ability to get off coverage at times

Les had Jimbo for at least 1 season and it looked pretty damn good. Jimbo would have been a great hire, but that would have been a big risk at the time I guess.

2005-2006 was Jimbo. Considering the talent, the offense was solid but not earth shattering.

All I know is the guy can play, and it would be good to have someone out there helping Fournette. He obviously cant start(fulltime at WR bc he is a RB first)..but any packages they have where Fournette and Guice can be on the field together I think should be looked at more closely. He isnt going to be converted to WR, but they already let Guice take a rep or two on the jet sweep that comes off the read option look and I am all for that.

receivers galore! They just need to get into rhythm and that happens when you are having the ball thrown to you regurlarly. Not 5 times a game to everyone.

I only they were thrown to at practice.

Wonder what Les and Cam would do with that offense.
destroy it.

i really think they would. they'd kill it. all streaks and seams, if those don't work, i formation toss dives.

Guice needs to be used more like Hilliard last year at Ole Miss. After 4Net has the worm down, his ability to get more yards is greater.

He needs to be on the field the same time as Fournette for a good bit of plays. Make them have to play both. Shifty arse Guice on the perimeter or catching passes on slants, would be a great weapon.

That's the only time they see it - practice! lol They hardly see it during games and when they do they're in shock. Which is why they drop it! LOL

Really though, some of you just don't get it.

This is what people mean when they say Cameron is just Miles' puppet. He does what Miles' wants and brings no imagination to the offense because Guice would be a weapon on most college teams offenses. Young productive players like that aren't wasted on the sidelines at these other schools like a Texas A & M or an Auburn. They would line Guice up all over the place in their offenses and get him the ball.

Miles gets these type of athletes all the time and you sporadically see them play during their careers. All that raving about DJ Chark during summer practice and yet you've never seen him play. LOL Just ridiculous.

Reed was moved to WR because in 99 we basically didn't have any bodies left at the position and he wasn't getting on the field at RB anyway. It worked out better than expected.

Apparently it was Josh Booty who recommended the move.
