This place is relatively new. It's over on Perkins in the old Portico location. I was very impressed with the quality and creativity of the dishes. Baton Rouge was really missing a place like this.
Wife and I had the fried green tomato appetizer, the beef short rib, and she has a filet special. I can't stress enough how good it all was. The whole deal is that they're farm-to-table so evidently they change the menu up frequently.
Very nice wine selection.
Go check it out.

Hello manager of new restaurant called "Table"

it does read like that doesn't it. But I'm not. I swear.

Their dish at fete rouge was awesome and Curtis is an excellent chef. I'm rooting for these guys to succeed, Baton Rouge could really use a restaurant like this (and quite a few more chef driven concepts honestly).

Wings are weird. Mac and cheese is sub-standard. Save your time and go somewhere else.

Ate there last night and it was grossly disappointing. Got the smoked redfish dip for appetizer - cold, too salty, and didn't finish it.
Had the chicken quarter entree. Tasted like albertsons rotisserie chicken with fancy ketchup BBQ sauce on it. Subbed out for the Mac and cheese side. Like the other poster said, completely lacked flavor.
All in all, won't go back.

I went earlier this week for drinks/appetizers. I enjoyed the wings and thought they had good flavor.

Either they have consistency issues or people's expectations vary wildly. I have a good buddy who is a server over there, so I'll check it out next time I'm in town.

Had the chicken. It tasted like chicken. I was appalled.

Not to discount your review but a chicken quarter is not really a good barometer of the place if you ask me. I very seldom order chicken with the exception of the roasted chicken at Gatreau's because most places just can't get it right.
I'm also not a fan of fish dips and it seems the redfish dip is the new thing as I've seen it a few places. Mac and cheese too.
Seems most of these new places have basically the same menu. I wish they would move on from short ribs so the price will get back to where it was when my mother started cooking them in the early 60's. I cook them as she always did and they are better than any restaurant.
ETA: I thought of two other chicken dishes I'll order. The chicken Bon fomme at Tujague's and the whole chicken al la grande at Moscas.

I have heard mixed reviews with a majority seeming to be really good. Definitely going to check this place out when I get a chance. Seems like the best new restaurant since Beausoleil.

Really cool atmosphere and delicious wings.
Not too impressive cheese board.
Very average burger that is priced at $19.
Still like the place but there isn't really much on the menu to get me back there soon.

Damn! A $19 burger is really pushing the limit.
Does it come with some special side or something?

No they claim it has all this outrageous quality.. but IMO masons, flemings, and barcadia all have better burgers for cheaper.
Even the LPG burger and fries are $3 less.

It will cost you way more in gas to get there and back.
