Alfred was a dick in this episode. I would have fired his arse too. They are setting Barbara up to become Harley Quinn.

I'm waiting for Barbara to kill Leslie, and then rape Jim over her dead, lifeless body at this point with the direction they are taking her character (well, maybe not that far since it is on primetime, but you get my point).

That russian roulette scene was amazing. I don't know if Monaghan is booked for the entire season because of Shameless, but he makes the show so much better.

By the time Bruce is old enough to become Batman these villains will be so old it won't be a shock he's able to kick all their asses. Batman will be guilty of elder abuse by that point.

My co workers were discussing the idea that Jim might actually become Batman at some point, or at least a rough draft of Batman. Though the only basis of this is the fact that Jim has already encountered a large number of Batman's foes.

The Riddler actor is 28 and the Catgirl actor is 16. That argument is overblown. Bruce could become Batman in 10 years at 24.

Caesar Romero and Burgess Meredith were 21 years older than Adam West.
Jack Nicholson is 14 years older than Michael Keaton.
On Gotham...
Penquin: 23 years older than Batman
Riddler: 14 years older than Batman
Joker: 8 years older than Batman
Catwoman: 2 years older than Batman
If the kid on Gotham was 20 and the villains were 43, 34, 28, and 22, no one would bat (pun intended) an eye.

This season is already far superior to season 1. It does seem like they are setting Barbera up to become Harley Quinn, which is interesting. Was she crazy at all in the comics?
I'm really looking forward to Nigma's development the rest of this season. I also wonder how much Penguin we'll get this season since he's pretty much completed his rise to super villain.

The ages don't really matter. Once Bruce grows to be Batman in 10-12 years, they'll all be the right ages. I've always seen Riddler and Penguin being older anyway.
I am worried about the direction they're taking Barbara and Jerome. I definitely hope Jerome isn't the Joker even if he's badass right now. Other than Barbara and Jerome, they've done a great job. Hope the ratings raise a little so it doesn't get taken off the air.
