I think they drafted Peat because he was the best on their board and he can be a very good right tackle to complement Armstead.

If colston/watson/ strief days are over, this team will be truly rebuilt. Aside from one piece.

I like Cam. He gets some hate on here from time to time, but extending him was a good move.

We need to release, trade, whatever to whoever it takes to lock up Armstead ASAP.

The longer we wait, the more expensive he'll be.

Hell, I wouldn't be opposed to give him a contract like the one dallas gave Smith. Something like 8 years (knowing a restructure will prob come after year 6).

We should have done that this offseason rather than flush money down the crapper on Browner and underutilized Spiller.

P Rob had a pick week one. I think White made a couple of good special teams plays.

He's had his share of rookie mistakes, but I'm not too worried about him yet. He's playing next to another rookie, Hawthorne, and behind probably the worst D-line in the league, minus Cam.

I was and still am firmly on the Prob wagon if he's not our top guy.

Robinson is 11th out of 99 qualifying CBs with a +3.5

White has not played a regular season snap at CB, but he has a +0.5 on special teams (163 of 649)

figures.

does it say how many snaps he's played at CB?

also, how far back do PFF stats go back? Can you find Robinson's stats from 2012 or whatever year he was actually decent?

+1 he really got alot of hate here that I felt was for the most part undeserved.

In 2011 he graded at +8.8 on 756 snaps - good enough for the 19th best CB

He has played 119 snaps in SD this year, out of 170 total snaps.

For the record they go back to 2007.

excellent. thanks for looking that up for me.

it's amazing how we sign players, and they turn to shite and people blame it on the players. Then they go to other teams and look so much better and we're asking if it's a shitty scheme or shitty players.

So true. Look at Malcolm Jenkins in Philly. Every time I watch Philly he is making tackles in the backfield for losses and good PBUs. He looked mediocre as hell here.

I really wish we could have gotten Fangio in the offseason. Hopefully Chicago sucks so much arse that he will be in the market again. He would make our Dline great again.

You're welcome.

I had a feeling about PRob. I've been a fan of his. He has the tools, just needed someone to mold him. I wish he could have stayed around, I'm sure we could have moulded him with Allen.

I kind of expected the same with White, surprised he hasn't played.

That fricker Browner was responsible for 2 TDs yesterday. That bum might be worse than Jason David

I don't know, when we played Baltimore in the preseason Joe Flacco ran to his left with the ball and Anthony got beat around the edge by Flacco pretty clearly. I don't see his college speed always translating over.

Coming in as a rookie (Anthony) and being the play caller of a complicated defense is not an easy task. I think he has show flashes of what he can be- pass break ups and tackles for loses. That being said I have seen him over run plays numerous times which was a weakness of his in college. I still think he ll figure it all out and as someone stated above the D line isn't clearing things up for him.

I didn't say he didn't have the mental ability, I simply stated a fact that he had a good angle on Flacco and got beat badly around the edge like Flacco left him behind. Don't downvote for a fact that was called out. I remember thinking "Holy crap, if Flacco beats him around the edge what will running backs and faster QBs do to him?"
