These numbers should carry less weight after Rodgers scored negative for his performance last night

There is a major disconnect between what people think PFF scores mean and what they actually mean. They grade every player on a snap by snap basis for just what they do on that play regardless of the situation. A throw that is a TD is weighted no more than a normal throw (so the 5 TDs thing can go out the window). The stats are complex for QBs, but they are hard to correlate with standard metrics. You are graded negatively for missing open players, or throws that are off target. This can be shadowed by play by good receivers.

For example, Randall Cobb had almost a +5.0 last night. A lot of Rodgers statistically success can be attributed to the fantastic play of Cobb. Jones also had a +1.8 and Lacy had a +1.9.

People get swept up in "well he threw 5 TDs no INTs so he should get a good grade" but if you go watch the tape, you will be able to find flawed play. It's just hard to see it when Randall Cobb is dodging and weaving and making insane plays

Also worth noting.... Every PFF score is reviewed and revised by 4 seperate graders for every snap. Doubtful that 4 guys who watch football and grade players for a living are all extremely wrong about a guy. The disconnect (and the reason why PFF has to be taken with a grain of salt) is the lack of accounting for situational football.
