Which 80's - early 90's cartoon had the best theme song?

And by best, mates, I mean which one had the most emotion from the singer?

I've got to say that the dude from David the Gnome sang it like he was making love to the mic (although the song blows) and Duck Tales had so much funk, but one that seems to be forgotten these days is the theme from Gummi Bears.

LINK

This grown arse man sings so passionately about gummi berry juice. Hard to imagine why his career didn't take off after he slayed this track.

Honnerable mention goes to Captain Planet

Gummi Bears is awesome, as is Heathcliff. Both good calls.

But tGOAT may be the original TMNT theme song: When the evil Shredder attacks, these turtle boys don't cut him no slack.

Also, shoutouts to Transformers and He-Man.

I'd have to go with DuckTales, probably by a long margin.

I also liked Darkwing Duck and Talespin.

Hard to argue with TMNT.

I got another one for ya... Denver the Last Dinosaur

If Hughey Lewis, Mel McDaniel and Michael Crichton collaborated, this song would have been the likely result.

I am pretty disappointed in myself for leaving off Muppet Babies. I'm about to add it to my workout play list.

Lots of good ones already posted, but I've always had a soft spot for M.A.S.K.

And of course, Thundercats

Ducktales- It is just as good as an 8-bit Nintendo theme for the video game.

Darkwing Duck immediately came to mind. "When there's trouble you call DW".

Muppet Babies

Strong as well.

Short-lived, but The Wuzzles theme is solid too. Shirt Tales isn't too great, but I wanted to post it because I fricking LOVED that cartoon as a kid.

I forgot how serious and cutthroat the Smurfs theme song was. It's basically just Gargamel and Azrael and terrorizing floods the whole time.

I wasn't a huge Denver the Last Dinosaur fan to be honest (solid theme song though).

What's funny is that I can still sing most of these without missing a lyric to this day.
