My friend is getting married and the rest of the groomsmen and I are thinking about getting him a shotgun for a wedding present. What makes it harder is this a**hole is left handed. So what are some of the best left handed shotguns? He will probably use it mostly for duck hunting.

Classic double barrel would be a timeless gift if you can swing the $$.

Benelli M2 or SBE 2 are your most realistic options. I shoot lefty too and I have the M2. I think Escort makes a semi automatic as well but your options are limited. You can find a Browning BPS pump that bottom ejects.

Beretta A400 Xplor is another pricey option.

i think the question is more about what you want in a shotgun. you want a pump? auto? or O/U?
Pump, buy a BPS: ejects out of the bottom
Auto, Benelli: has a left handed auto
O/U, decide how much you want to spend and go from there. Personally, i'd buy a beretta O/U before id buy a citori. the thing about an O/U is that gun is more about feel than the other 2. they are much more "fine tuned" so to speak than most autos except for the skeet/trap guns from the Bs.

I am left handed, us lefties have all adjusted to a right handed world, including y'all's guns. Any will work fine...

BPS Stalker model. Top safety and bottom eject for ambidextrous shooters. I am a lefty and have used either a BPS or Ithaca for 30 Model 37 years.

My husband is left handed and wants a left handed sbe 2 with a 26" barrel in whatever camo pattern my right handed one is. Apparently it isn't easy to find in lefty.

I here great things about the Escort which are about half the price of Benelli. I've always used RH shotguns, but am also in the market.

This but I would really want a Beretta, but depends on how tight you are with the Groom.

This. ^^^

I shoot long guns left handed. I shoot about 20 cases/year thru my Beretta A400. I've never seen the empty hull as it gets ejected.

I do swap the safety on my A400's to the "left handed" position, just like I always did on my Beretta 391's. Takes 5-10 minutes.

Left handed shotguns are a solution in need of a problem.

Cynergy /thread

Browning has $100 rebate right now too, order off gunbroker with no sales tax and free shipping and you'll get this for $1,599.

ETA, newer version has adjustable comb to come as close as you can to fully customizable fit.
