What have we learned from the most recent friendlies?

It was brought up in the game thread. Other than learning who is garbage, what did we gain from these friendlies? What do we now know that we didn't before and who were we impressed with?

Guzan is the #1 goal keeper. Jozy can backheel, Ream deserves a spot. Besler has to start at one of the CB spots and that's it.

That Jurgy gets off on playing creative midfielders and wingers at DM.

I'd love to see an interview where he explained some of his decisions. Who knows, maybe there's a method to his madness but I really think he's just lowkey trying to prove he's a genius by calling up some of these scrubs and hoping they show out.

TN Bhoy, do you honestly think that Bedoya is "creative"?

Nothing important because Jürgen doesn't take friendlies seriously, which I've pointed out 100 times but was told "lol bro chill out it's just a friendly."

At least I hope he doesn't take them seriously, because if he does, we're so fricked.

I don't follow as closely as most of you all but it's hard for me to believe some of these guys are among our best players.

I know Dempsey is out but Morris? Wood?

I get giving guys chances but is Johannsson such a disappointment that these guys are ahead of him?

Also, Yedlin seems like a nice prospect and works hard to make runs etc but man does he give the ball away dangerously over and over and over and also has countless bad first touches.

The defense and defensive midfield is too hard for me to keep track of. . . seems like different players every match (or the same players but played in different positions). Could be better to just pick some at random and play them together in their normal positions for a few matches.

Ream's best position is center back, but we know Jurgen has his pets at that position. Plus, Jurgen doesn't like playing players in their natural positions anyway.

I have nothing to say in response. Incredible, really. I don't even care about the result. If Cameron's not in the mix and this is what we're going with moving forward, I'm just out of fricks completely for a bit. When does Bedoya ever seem like a good fit there? Seriously, we better curbstomp Mexico.

I'm honestly just confused and afraid. This is supposed to be fun and carefree for me. Instead, I'm just disgusted right now. frick this gay Earth.

This is basically how I feel. I don't understand how Jurgen doesn't get that players play better in their natural positions. Is he such a narcissist that he thinks he is just that much smarter than everyone else and that somehow playing a player in a new position against Brazil will reap untold fortunes?

I learned I will never rush home from work or any activity to watch us play ever again.
