DAT 8/30: The Curse Ends Here

Needed to start this one early knowing I'll be up all night and (hopefully) sleeping late. Lance is going to lead us to places we've only dreamt of this season
Not going to make any comment about how we usually do against a pitcher with those stats
Let's bring this shite back to Houston 15 games over

This weekend's series at Target Field was supposed to feature the top two 2012 draft picks -- Carlos Correa and Byron Buxton. Through two games, that hasn't happened yet. Buxton has started both games but, Correa, the No. 1 overall pick, has been sidelined with a sore hamstring and is day-to-day. Whether or not Correa plays, at least one will be on display in Sunday's finale of a three-game series. Astros rookie Lance McCullers, the 41st overall selection in 2012, will make his second start since being recalled from Double-A Corpus Christi. The Astros are trying to preserve McCullers so he is fresh down the stretch. The rookie is 5-4 with a 3.12 ERA in 15 games this season. The Twins counter with Ervin Santana, who has struggled. Santana spent extra time working on his fastball command with pitching coach Neil Allen after his last start against Tampa. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings against the Rays, giving up five runs on eight hits. The righty is 2-4 with a 6.05 ERA in 10 starts this season.

In. I got your back bruh.
Lance the Dance is going to help break through the 14 game barrier. I have every fiber in me believing in this young man. I can't wait for our final roster, I truly expect massive ripples to be felt top to bottom. Go Stros!

Let's not draw any more attention to that stat.

We always seem to lose the ones with the terrible starters on the mound. Remember when Yordano Ventura got sent down only to be brought right back due to injury and he dominated us? that shite right there.

Single followed by 3 strikeouts. Welcome back 14 games curse.

Hopefully we get locked in Lance

Ump is fricking us early

I feel that was hittable inning, but our lack of patience rears its ugly head again. That pitcher was no where near the strike zone on many of those pitches but we like charity cases. Gonzalez and Gattis with horrible pitch selection. Colby swung and missed at probably the pitchers best pitch of the inning.
