I am looking for a 45 or 50 Purple and Gold Yeti Tundra. I know Yeti used to make them, but I think they got discontinued. I've searched online and can't seem to find any. Does anyone know somewhere online or around either Baton Rouge or Shreveport where I may be able to find one?

TIA

I've seen them at Academy. I'd try there first.

You might find a used one on Craig's List. You aren't going to find a new one...

Get an Igloo Marine cooler and two cans of Krylon in purple and gold. Search over.

If anyone in Baton Rouge has one, it will be Goodwood Hardware. Half that store is higher end LSU gear.

Those have been gone due to some licensing problems from what I heard. I don't know if you will be able to find one new.

I'll rattle can one of those foam coolers and charge you $200 if it makes you feel better about it.

I'll even pre-chill it for you at no extra charge.

Yeah, now they're just slapping a logo on the basic white coolers.

Wasn't just LSU from what I understood. They had tons of "team colors" with no licensing or dues paid to the teams so it was inevitable. Now they have to pay that fee and I am sure they are just doing the logo to keep profit margins the same without sending the consumer cost through the roof.

No way licensing has anything to do with it. Purely manufacturing cost. Going from 3 colors or tops and 3 colors of bottoms to 35+ colors of tops and 35+ colors of bottoms is a huge increase. Licensing is cake and at the end of the day a big brand manufacturer can pass licensing fees to consumer.

I think the some colors weaken the ice chest also. It changes the plastic...

my buddy is a distributor and this is almost verbatim of what he heard from the manufacturer. we tried to get a 50 unit run of 75's in purple and gold earlier this year or late last year and they refused.

vikings fans were upset too.
