I've been meaning to try that root beer.....I had a guy call in sick, so I'll be stuck at work til dark. Looks like water and whatever snacks are in the break room fridge for now...

Super stoked that my daughter tested 3 grades above herself in reading and comprehension today in school (3rd grade). Being a single parent can be awesome at times! Taking her shopping for new soccer shorts and whatnot tomorrow. I hope you fine gentlemen have a wonderful evening.

Had a steak and some roasted potatoes earlier. All out of my bourbon so im settling for working on a bottle of vodka thats been on top of the fridge for 6 months. Its getting the job done.

Finally back at the house and laying on the sofa. Long drive, but definitely much shorter than google says. I got caught by two 18 wheeler fires, traffic in San Antonio, 5 o'clock traffic in Houston, construction in Grosse Tete, and construction on the spillway. Ended up taking 13 hours and 21 minutes with all of those stops. Definitely doable in 12 though.
