My god.
Ok, for real...do you want places of similar..."quality"... or maybe something slightly (lol) better but casual? High end? (obviously I exclude Commander's from my snarky comments)

I guess I'll just list a bunch of decent to great places in the FQ of varying degrees of casualness, this guy can look at them all and decide (I'll ignore the fact that Commander's is nowhere near Bourbon).
Sylvain
EAT
Stanley
Johnny's Poboys
Coop's Place
GW Fins
Verti Mart (Muffaletta)
Angeline
Irene's
Galatoire's
Killer Poboys
Tiki Tolteca
Muriel's
Felix's
Doris Metropolitan
Ruby Slipper (Canal St Location)
Bayona
Cane & Table
That should be a decent list and mix of high end and casual for someone that wants to stay in the FQ.

Is that a place you would consider "near" Bourbon Street? I consider "near" in the FQ or a block or two into the CBD or a block or two into the marigny.

I'd add NOLA to the list.

Peche should be a must visit. Also Butcher for a casual lunch.
Stanley was over an hour wait this past Saturday afternoon. Colette's has my favorite all you can eat buffet of all time.

You've been given a lot of suggestions. I would humbly suggest not going to the dogshit places (besides Commander's) you listed in your OP. Make the trip at least somewhat special for your GF.

Also, I say this a lot but...
Since its your GF's first visit, and you really haven't experienced NOLA judging from your list:
Spend a few minutes walking down Bourbon Street so your GF can experience it...
Then Get the frick away from that shithole and go see some real neighborhoods with some real restaurants. Go Uptown and go down Magazine St. Go down St Charles Ave. Go to the Marigny/Frenchmen St. Head to the Bywater. etc etc.
Bourbon Street is one of the worst parts of New Orleans, but necessary. You can eat well in the FQ though, you just have to avoid the terrible tourist traps.

Hijack...
Best spots for lunch around Napoleon and Magazine? Will be staying around there this weekend and need some ideas for lunch while biking/walking/shopping. TIA.

Why do the suggestions have to be near or around Bourbon St?
I would suggest not taking her to any of the places on your previous list (other than Commander's, which you won't do since you don't want high end). No offense intended, but there are so many better places to go.
You might consider Remoulade which is the casual side or Arnaud's, serving some of the same dishes as the main restaurant. Oysters Arnaud, shrimp remoulade...
You can stop in Antoine's Hermes Bar for eats and drinks.

Poboys at Johnny's. Oysters at Felix's.
Peche is worth a trip to the warehouse district and a nice getaway from the nastiness of Bourbon St. Hopefully, your plan is not strictly limited to hanging out on Bourbon St. Take a walk around Jackson Square and look at the artwork and other goings on there. Get her some beignets at Cafe du Monde.
Mr B's is fine for casual dress, particularly for lunch. Treat her to some bbq shrimp and gumbo there. Before or after, have a drink across the street in the Carousel Bar in the Monteleone.
