I like it a lot. I'm not going to complain after I've been begging for anything besides what our current crest is.

Not a fan. The font sucks for the USA. It's pretty uninspired and bland.

Reminds me of what Nike did for the US basketball team a few years ago in the Olympics. I like it.

Looking at the crest a day later, I actually hate it now.
This is supposed to be the crest of the United States Soccer Federation, but it could just as easily be used by the US Olympic Equestrian Team.
At least fit in the DTOM snake wrapped around a ball or USSF somewhere. Anything to give it some character.

The same could be said for the centennial crest and just about every damn crest worldwide.
So you want a clean crest without a soccer ball or cleats, but you want it to be soccer specific but still reflect the country as a whole.
Pray-tell, how would you design the crest?

Personally I would prefer striking a deal with Nike to take ownership of the DTOM snake/ball design and feature that in the new crest. That would give us an identifiable icon and lend some character to what looks to be a boring arse crest.

Huh? My post even said to put the snake wrapped around a ball. Everyone else might not want a ball, but I never said that.
In fact many worldwide crests incorporate a ball and/or the initials of their respective FA, which my post also suggested.
