Lol, that's sort of my point, he fights to win a pride to mate. some weak arse lion isn't going to come kick this lion out of the pride for a good 3 years unless he's killed. His strong bloodline keeps making strong cubs and as they grow they leave and so on and so on... The strong genetics keep going while weakness is eliminated. It keeps the strong genetics going. But in this case humans intervened which throws it off. Again this wasn't a loner old lion.

It's a pretty despicable story. When this dentist finally sees the anger start to die down and he's able to return to his practice in a month then we'll have a followup story detailing how tragedy has befallen the pride because of the dentist. Then he'll have to go into hiding again - why do some people love to destroy so much in 2015? It's barbaric.
