Regular Cab Trucks

Who has one? I can count two times this year when I had more than 2 people in my truck. Although I guess I would miss just throwing my shite in the back seat, a regular cab has an allure to it.

Haven't had on since I bought my first ext cab. Had one as a company truck for awhile and the only issue is the seat doesn't go as far back as an ext or crew cab's does

Me.
Single cab long bed and a good tool box > extra cab short bed for single guy.

I drive a reg cab 2002 F-250 4x4 with a 7.3. I love it but in all fairness I only drive it MAYBE 50% of the time. My wife has a newer land cruiser, and we only put about 10,000 on each car a year max. And I have a '74 bronco that we cruise around in quite a bit for fun.
Everyday all day with 20k plus a year as my only vehicle? I'd probably get something with more room.

Next truck will be regular cab. Back seat just gets full of crap and has to be moved to haul folks back there.
Plus kids will be out of school in 6 years so I'll just have need for one wingman then.

If I was single and without a kid I'd probably have another single cab.
I still refuse to buy a four door pickup truck with the small arse bed. My latest truck came with a camper shell, which is kinda awesome for when I need it, but I ain't leaving that shite on my truck all the time. So right now it's killing grass until I figure out what to do with it.

I've had a couple of them. I'll never go back. They just don't have room for shite.

I had one for several years. Hated it. When you go on a trip, the inside of your truck looks like the Beverly hillbillys.

I'm rocking a single cab 2000 Ranger. Love that damn thing.

That allure of banging your elbow on the back window as you rest your arm on the seat...

Not since I sold my '94 Nissan hardbody pickup. Wouldn't want to rock a regular cab on a daily driver ever again.

first truck ever was a 1992 single cab dodge dakota. As a high school kid, that's all i needed. Now? Tundra crew max. Have a kid and always bringing people fishing with me. Rarely is the back seat not an absolute necessity.

I don't think I could ever go back to a single cab after having my quad cab Tacoma

Not since I sold my '84 Silverado with short bed. As for hauling long lumber close tailgate and wedge front of board under the toolbox. Put longer boards in first then shorter boards on top of them and then sakrete, potting soil, nails and spare tire on top of that.

I've had a normal cab short bed truck since 1990, I've done just fine with them.
Nice to be able to do a U-turn at an intersection.
