I'd have to see who they voted ahead of Kawhi to know for sure. But I think a lot of players realize that a low post defender is the most important thing for a defense
Ehh TA made their list and the two bigs they listed aren't really low post defenders. They are more help side rim protectors.
Warriors aren't able to do what they did defensively without Draymond.
Plus he is a damn good post defender. Guarded AD, Gasol/Zbo, and Dwight in the playoffs

To be fair
is similar to saying that Curry won because he was "likable".
I didn't see a single Rockets' fan say that Curry deserved the award more than Harden.

Did you see one that said Curry was not deserving?
I am pretty sure I remember people around here saying Curry would win because he was more likable than Harden. Those people were not Rockets fans. Actually they made the case why likability matters, lol.

Holy shite, thanks for the link

With a full year of D12 next year HOU could crack 65 wins with decent health otherwise you gotta think Harden will get his next year.

Spin it how you want, but your previous statement is false.

I think I got that exact argument from Swagger many times
I had both guys as 1a and 1b for majority of the season. Curry just overtook him once it became obvious that they were going to put up an absurd number of wins
eta: Plus their head to head matchups didn't hurt

The statement that I didn't see any Rockets' fan say that Curry deserved it over Harden is false?

I now see one Rockets' fan that said Curry was deserving, I didn't see one before.
Thanks

Yeah, I said well deserved MVP. Which means he deserved it.

I hope people remember this logic when the Rockets win a butt ton of games and Harden's raw numbers take a slight hit due to less minutes and Lawson getting touches.

65 wins
Howard missed half of last season and they win 56 games. If they only win 5 more of the 41 games that D12 missed(conservative estimate), well that gives them 61. Then with the addition of Lawson, healthy Bev, Healthy Motie, Healthy Jones, etc..safe to say an additional 4 wins is not out of the question. If they are as healthy next season as GSW was this previous season, they'll be over 60 you can bet the house on that.

Steph's numbers never really took a hit though that was thing. People assumed that even when the Warriors were playing without him they were really good when it was the opposite. He was still putting up very good raw numbers for the overall minutes he played too.
Plus there is like a zero percent chance y'all win that many games (no offense). It was sort of a perfect storm for Golden State with so many teams dealing with injuries, their respective health, and I think the bottom of the West is getting even better now.

The Rockets will hit 60 wins next year with even reasonable health.

players really aren't much better than the average casual fan.
