Meatball sandwiches in NOLA?

Besides Red Gravy, where can I get a good meatball sandwich in NOLA?
I hear Desi Vega has a good one but I haven't tried it yet.

Parenton's Poboys, Wednesday special
Slice, though the meatballs can be a bit dense
Stein's Deli, Sunday special meatball sub

Parentons as mentioned but Frost top on clearview also has a good one.

first and only thing that popped in my head upon seeing your subject line. I have nothing to offer this thread other than praise for RG
ETA: it has been years since I have had one here, but Katie's used to make a killer meatball. Anyone can confirm if it's still on point?

Madina's has the best one in the city

Mandina's, but I've never had one.

I had one at Parenton's, it was good, but they skimped on the sauce. So if you go there, ask for ample sauce.
R&O's was OK, but I don't want sesame seeds on my poboy.
I will try the Frostop version and report back, because that is close by.
I've had very tasty ones from Mandina's, but I always ask for parmesan, not motz or provolone.
I won't order another one from Shortstop, because their sauce is way too thin and the meatballs could be tastier. I prefer the sauce to be relatively thick, so it doesn't just soak into the bread.
