I just switched to Vicious brand Fluorocarbon on my crabkbait rod and one other rod. I had a bad experience with Seaguar fluoro about 8 years ago where I snapped off 5-6 fish in a row. I may have had a bad batch but I have a badass hook set. Vicious has seemed to be alright so far.
I fish 85# braid on my other flipping stick. Any other testaments?

I use Seaguar with no problem, mostly 20 lb. some 15 lb.. Power pro for braid. Big game for mono.
If you're looking for a copolymer, McCoy Mean Green is hard to beat.
I tie a snell knot and use a straight shank wire when I'm pitching

I've been well satisfied with Seaguar InvisX for several years but recently changed out my dropshot reel to Sunline Sniper FC to try it. I was very impressed.

I use Cabelas x50 which is made by Seaguar, no issues so far. Once it starts to look little frayed I retie

Best knot for fluoro
I have some Trilene fluoro on my crankbait rod. I use Trilene XT mono on my Tx rig and spinnerbait rods. Power Pro braid on my punch rig, frog, and jig rods. Lbs test varies.
My panfish gear I have a couple of spinning rods for slip corks with 10# power pro and another with 6# mono with a beetle spinner. I don't get too fancy for bream.

Mr Gaucho put me on the mccoys mean green. I don't see how fishing line could be any better.

First time I've ever seen anyone have a complaint about seaguar

I use power pro braid, sunline supernatural mono (shite is legit) and Yo-Zuri Hybrid for copolymer.
Seguar Red Label as a leader on my light 15lb braid.

Exactly what I use. Seaguar for soft plastic setup. Power pro for flipping. Big game for pretty much everything else.

Must have had a bad batch of Seaguar. I use 20# big game for mono as well and 17# Vicious and 85# spiderwire braid.

I use spider wire 55-85# braid on both bass rigs and redfish rigs. I abandoned fluorocarbon 3 years ago and didn't look back. Since going to braid I have not lost a big fish due to line or knot failure.

Just stay away from Seagur in general
This thread and every other encounter/discussion I've had suggests otherwise.
I use 6-9lb test Seagur red label fluro when steelhead fishing. We're talking very strong, 15lb fish in a river... It's the only brand of leader and tippet that hasn't failed me.

Not a big fan of Vicious. Fished it for a while on all my stuff but just don't like it. too stuff and isn't smooth on the thumb when casting.
