He probably actually saved and made good investments with his NFL money.

I fricking love Colston. This makes me love him even more

He will really be missed when he does decide to hang em up. It still pisses me off that he did not make a pro bowl while he was in his prime. He was basically punished for being stand up guy (not a fricking diva).
His quiet nature is what has kept him under the radar all of these years, but it is also what endears him to ALL TRUE SAINTS FANS!

He's definitely one of my all time favorites.

Dude, your sig... Did someone actually say that?
"I won't lose sleep if the Saints go 0-16. While they're my favorite team, I cheer for former Bama players over anything. I'm all for Julio going in dry on our secondary..."
wat?

One of the greatest Saints of all time.

He should have paid us money with those stone hands from last season. Just fricking around. Love the guy. Great player and fantastic role model on being a true professional. He'll be greatly missed when he retires. I hope he stays active in the community when he stops playing.

Over the years I don't know if any NFL wide receiver has taken more big hits and gotten up off the ground than Marques Colston. Guy is as tough as they come.

Didn't he buy an AFL2 franchise or something? That is not a good investment IMO.
I think his touchdown "celebration" is quietly underrated. I love his chest/facemask/acknowleging his god routine.

Colston is a smart dude who isn't going to end up like Clinton Portis though. He's set for life already.

A real shame that such a good player with great character is known so little.
Could be trivia worthy. Most catches by a player who never made All Pro or Pro Bowl?
He's at 666 now. Reviewed his stats. Maybe his most impressive stat is Lifetime Average Yards per Game. At 69.5 he is #25 ALLTIME. Sharing some HOF territory there...
23. Randy Moss 70.1 1998-2012 5TM
24. Alshon Jeffery (25) 69.5 2012-2014 chi

Everyone remembers the drops but he still had a bunch of "holy crap how the F did he catch that!?" moments last season.
